Why Fulfillment?

The term fulfillment speaks to your highest potential as a human being. You can achieve worldly success, but fail to experience true joy. You can find fleeting happiness in circumstances, but fail to know a deeper, lasting sense of peace and contentment. You can even find a limited kind of personal contentment, but fail to maximize your effectiveness and contribution to those you care about, and to a world in need. Fulfillment is about finding your own unique path to living a truly well-lived life, a powerful life of joy, celebration and service.

Where do the Institute's approaches come from?

Our work is informed by several traditions of thought and practice, including:

·        Mindfulness-based stress reduction and performance optimization

·        Cognitive, somatic, personal and transpersonal psychologies

·        Life, executive and performance coaching and training systems

·        Mission-critical organizational consulting in the private, public and nonprofit sectors

·        Dynamic fitness, yoga, martial arts, postural integration, and other physical modalities

·        Virtue-based ethics, non-dual thought systems, and applied philosophy

But the most important factor that shapes the content of our work is you – your specific needs and the needs of your organization. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality content available in the field of personal growth, performance and fulfillment, at the most reasonable cost.

How does your approach differ from other coaching and consulting programs?

Our approach is awareness-based, multi-dimensional, and interactive. It works on multiple levels and provides the ongoing support that leads to positive, deep-rooted, lasting change. The approach is called Interactive Awareness ™.
 

What is Interactive Awareness?

Interactive Awareness is the integration of conscious awareness and creative action. Though it's an innate human faculty, Interactive Awareness can be learned, practiced and habituated to bring about deep, long-lasting, positive transformation.

More specifically, Interactive Awareness involves awareness and integration of eight primary dimensions of human experience:

·        Mind (cognitive)

·        Body (somatic)

·        Emotions (emotive)

·        Spirit (spiritual)

·        Social Relationships (interpersonal)

·        The Physical Environment (environmental)

·        Action (creative)

·        Awareness itself (conscious)

These dimensions are known as the “Eight Domains” of human experience, and they form the practical context for all of the Institute’s programs.

Interactive Awareness ™ Online

In addition to serving as the Institute’s core operative principle, Interactive Awareness is also the name of the Institute’s groundbreaking web-based educational curriculum – the world’s first comprehensive, interactive online life-coaching program. Interactive Awareness is designed to be used independently by individuals, groups and organizations, or in conjunction with personalized coaching, counseling, and consulting. Interactive Awareness provides ongoing interactive support structures to help create deep-level, lasting benefits rather than momentary change. Do you provide in-person coaching, consulting and workshops?

We will soon offer custom-designed workshops, coaching and consulting services, as well as a limited number of publicly available programs. These will be delivered online, by telephone, and also in person.

Do you provide psychotherapy?

No. Several of our directors and advisors are licensed psychotherapists who independently offer various forms of psychological counseling. However, the Human Fulfillment Institute does not directly offer psychotherapy.
